That's the number of days we've been in the P.I.C.U.
Two whole weeks.
Without seeing Caelan smile.
Fourteen days is a long time.
It's really starting to feel like it.
This is the worst vacation I've ever taken from work.
No question about it.
The girls are getting tired of this routine.
Heck, Damian and I are getting tired of it too.
Tired parents and tired kids does not a happy family make.
We just want our family together under one roof.
Healthy.
Happy.
We're just doing the best we can.
And so is Caelan.
One day at a time.
:( You all are doing an amazing job, keep it up for hopefully not that much longer. We love you Caelan but speaking from one baby of the family to another, maybe a little faster progress or at least a smile would be awesome! I say he's holding out on smiles because he still thinks he's going to Disneyworld, and this is a very long side trip...
ReplyDeleteLove you guys Pam
The best you can do is all you can do. I know a smile from your wonderful boy will make all this sadness disappear. I have a feeling that you will get that smile from little Mr Caelan this weekend. I think there will be a lot of smiling faces in that ICU room too.
ReplyDeleteLove you guys....amazing parents, amazing family.
