Trains rank right up there with "my kitchen" for conversation topics started by Caelan. So you can only imagine how excited he was when we visited "The Magical Village" at Place D'Orléans. It's a young train lovers dream!
I think Caelan could have spent an entire day watching these trains travel through the various villages that are set up by the Gloucester North Lions Club. There is so much to look at, all the details in each different setting and the trains that run through them. They've made it interactive in that there are buttons for the little ones to press around the display that activate different things. They've really done a fabulous job and even though it's free they are collecting donations for the Gloucester Emergency Food Cupboard and other charities.
It was so hard to get a picture of Caelan because he was constantly following the trains and hurrying from one end of the display to the other!! I remember visiting previous years with the girls, who always enjoyed it but never quite as enthusiastically as their brother. He really loves his trains!
